You know them, those little white halos that border the areas of high contrast in your photos. They seem to appear out of nowhere when boosting contrast in your photos and throw a monkey wrench into your creative vision. You could ignore them, it doesn’t look so bad when viewed on facebook or on your computer… but then you go to print and UGH! it’s a nightmare! So, what do you do? You could back off on that processing you loved or… you could try this technique:
